The beauty of black and white artwork is that it is very adaptable to different types of interiors, from traditional to modern, from serious to playful. Stark and high impact black and white paintings are timeless and work with most interior styles. We see color based on light absorption. Black absorbs all light, and white reflects it. When they are used together, there is huge impact created by being opposites in the light spectrum.
