My Artistic Journey

I didn’t always know I would be an artist. But I’ve always felt things deeply—moments, memories, moods. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been trying to translate those feelings into something tangible. Something others could see, feel, and understand without words. That’s what led me to painting.

I became an artist not by following a roadmap, but by listening—first to myself, then to the quiet pull of creativity that wouldn’t go away. Life, with all its beauty and chaos, has been my greatest teacher. Each painting I create holds a piece of that journey. It’s not just about color and composition—it’s about emotion, memory, energy. It’s about capturing something that can’t quite be explained, only felt.

I paint to process, to reflect, to connect. My hope is that when you stand in front of one of my pieces, something stirs in you. Maybe it reminds you of a place you've been, a feeling you've felt, or a version of yourself you want to return to. Maybe it says something you didn’t have words for.

Art, at its core, is a conversation. Not just between brush and canvas, but between me and you. Between what I felt when I painted it, and what you feel when you see it.

If one of my pieces speaks to you—if it feels like it belongs with you—then it was always meant to find you.

I have been selling online for over 20 years and have sold over 4000 pieces of my original art. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, but now I live in Colorado. I started my career in art in 1988 by joining the Entertainment Industry union as a mural artist. For 18 years I’ve painted LOTS of murals and backdrops for studios such as Disney, CBS and Warner Bros. My work can be seen at every Disneyland park in the world as well as many motion pictures and tv shows you’ve probably seen. I have works in permanent installations all over the world. Now I am a professional full time free lance artist, and I look forward to producing more art works here for my loyal clients.

My gallery is a colorful reflection of the things that move me—cats, birds, flowers, landscapes, and other subjects that spark my imagination. Color is truly at the heart of everything I create. I use bold, vibrant shades to express emotion—joy, wonder, nostalgia—whatever’s in my heart at the moment. I’m often drawn to nature as my muse, taking inspiration from real life but letting it flow onto the canvas in a more abstract, expressive way. Before I focused on canvas, I painted murals, so working big comes naturally to me. I love creating large pieces that make a statement—sometimes even spread across multiple panels to tell a bigger story.

One of the things that brings me the most joy is hearing how people feel when they see my work. Some say a painting reminds them of a cherished memory, while others simply feel uplifted by the energy it brings into a room. That means everything to me. I want my art to do more than just decorate a wall—I want it to speak to something inside you. To spark a feeling, shift a mood, or offer a moment of calm or joy in the middle of your day. If one of my pieces resonates with you, it’s because something in it already belongs to you. I just helped bring it to life.
